Paul launched his spa career with a degree in environmental studies from the University of Vermont. An innovator in the business of health and wellness for more than 25 years, he is recognized as a leader for his knowledge of spa treatments, operations, business development and systems design. His experience ranges from designing and opening two wellness centers, curriculum building for the Utah College of Massage Therapy and Eagle Gate College, graphic design and publishing, to personally providing over 17,000 spa treatments, directing the Cliff Spa at Snowbird, the Willow Stream Spa at the Fairmont Southampton, and overseeing the development of a green spa in Jackson Hole Wyoming. Paul has volunteered on boards for Healing Mountain Massage School, Eagle Gate College, the International Spa Association and the Jackson Hole Destination Wellness Committee.
Shelley Lotz has over 25 years of experience in the spa/wellness/beauty industry as an esthetician, educator, and business owner. Her newest book is Green Spas and Salons: How to Make Your Business Truly Sustainable. She is a major contributing author of Milady’s Standard Esthetics Fundamentals, a textbook for esthetician students. She started an institute of aesthetics and is also a Certified Sustainable Building Advisor. Shelley recently launched Vios Spa Group (viosspagroup.com), a consulting, management, and education company. In addition to traveling, writing articles and volunteering as a Green Spa Network board member keeps life interesting.
